Caustic Visions is an influential UK-based electronic and industrial techno project formed in the early 1990s by Tom Spragg and Timothy Evans, alongside key contributors like Mark Churcher, Justin Day, Richard McKenenie, and Paul Fitchie. Forged during the peak of the underground electronic movement, the group became known for its raw, hypnotic blend of industrial beats, experimental acid, minimal techno, and hardcore breakbeats. They cemented their reputation within the underground subculture through seminal 1990s releases like Purple Microdots and The Second Sighting on Lenny Dee's legendary Industrial Strength Records, later expanding their gritty, mechanical sonic palette through collaborative splits with acts like Somatic Responses and a continued underground presence into the 2020s.
