Ana Danch

Ukrainian singer-songwriter Ana Danch’s relationship with music began well before she stepped forward as a recording artist. She’s spent much of her life developing a creative voice influnced by years of vocal training, performance experience and a knack for storytelling while working across pop, folk and electronic music stylings. Throughout her decorated career, Ana has built an artistic vision that flows around emotional expression, melody and the ability to capture moments that feel at once personal and widely relatable. Her journey began at the age of seven when she started studying vocals, quickly discovering a passion for performance and just two years later, she gave her first public performance, setting out on a path that would see her take part in 59 national and international vocal competitions and become a laureate of numerous festivals. These experiences provided Ana with a strong background as both a performer and vocalist, allowing her to explore different styles while developing her own artistic expression. At fourteen, Ana took another important step by writing her first original song, “Don’t Cry,” a track which marked the beginning of her journey as a songwriter and over the following years, she continued developing her skills and gaining experience within different musical environments. Between 2005 and 2006, Ana served as the lead vocalist of the girl group Dessert, followed by another chapter as lead vocalist of the girl group TRISHI from 2006 to 2007. In 2021, Ana Danch opened a new chapter under her current stage name, returning to her artistic journey with a new energy and a distinctive sound. Having shared an expansive discography over the last five years, she now brings us her latest release with her brand new single titled “La Isla Bonita.”

Singer-songwriter Ana Danch has released her new single “La Isla Bonita.” The song is written in English and Spanish. It tells a story of freedom, emotions, adventure, and an unforgettable summer night by the sea. The characters explore an abandoned house, leave graffiti on the walls, dive into the sea, and experience a day they will always remember.

Establishing the mood with a cosmic frequency, ethereal guitars, 80s drums and hummed vocalizations, Ana Danch opens La Isla Bonita with dimensionality and a cinematic allure as she shares the lyrics, “In an abandoned house, with shadows close, we explore the rooms in the lights of day…” We immediately connect with the journey that Ana is taking us on. It is sensual, explorative and almost feels like a sequel to Madonna‘s hit song of the same name! The multi-lingual polyglot approach to songwriting is sublime and adds authenticity to the track. There is an undeniable charm that manifests. It invites human connection and connection with nature at the same time, perfectly released in the wake of the new moon in Cancer and in time for summer. We could imagine the track being featured in a TV show like Elite or Toy Boy on Netflix, or a Spanish telenovela.
