From the album Symbiosis

“System Overload” opens the album at a moment of complete overwhelm. Fear, guilt and exhaustion intensify into a state in which even familiar surroundings feel threatening and the desire for a small space of peace seems out of reach. The recurring line “This is a system overload” portrays the human being as an overloaded system losing its ability to feel and function. At the same time, the first moments of stillness appear between darkness and inner noise. The calm rain at the end already suggests that collapse does not have to be the end, but can become the starting point for the transformation running through the album.

Keoni is the music project of Czech musician and producer Jan Nádraský. His music moves between alternative electronic music, atmospheric soundscapes and experimental elements, combining electronic production with distinctive vocals, repetitive rhythms and organic textures. Rather than focusing on a specific genre, Keoni puts the atmosphere of each song at the centre. His music develops intuitively from rhythms, melodies, fragments of lyrics and moods that gradually come together during the production process. The human voice remains deliberately direct and unprocessed, creating a counterpoint to the electronic production. The album “Symbiosis” connects personal and social themes with questions of intimacy, growth, community, conflict and human connection. Songs such as “We Grow” and “Kingdom Will Come” move between intimacy and collective energy, between calm and tension. Keoni sees music as a space in which electronic sounds, human emotions and different musical influences merge – a symbiosis that gave the current album its name.
